Eddie Bruckner's Boston Street Piano was part of the global art installation Play Me, I’m Yours, created by artist Luke Jerram. It was first presented in Boston by the Celebrity Series in 2013, when over 500,000 people played and listened to music with their neighbors. In 2016, 60 pianos painted by local artists and community groups were placed in outdoor spaces in every Boston neighborhood for the public to play and enjoy September 23 - October 10, 2016. Since 2008, Play Me, I’m Yours has been installed in more than 50 cities and reached more than 10 million people globally.
